Full-time academic position at the level of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Law
Euro University of Bahrain (“EUB”) invites applications for a permanent, full-time academic position at the level of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant/Associate Professor) in Law. Candidates should be able to deliver excellent teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, have a suitable track record of high-quality research output appropriate to their career level and a commitment to meaningful knowledge exchange activities.
Annual Salary
In the range of BHD19,000 – BHD29,000, commensurate with experience (i.e., approximately £40,000 – £60,000 / €46,500 – €70,000).

Duties include:
- Delivering up to five courses per semester in relevant and specified subject areas.
- Mentoring and managing students regarding academic matters.
- Communicating effectively with students, including via office hours and electronic means.
- Teaching, examining and undertaking administrative duties as required.
- Providing clear and guided feedback on formative assessments
- Contributing to the quality assurance of academic programmes.
Skills
Person Specification
- A PhD (or an expectation thereof within a reasonable timeframe) or equivalent in Law or related discipline from a reputable university.
- The ability to teach introductory, intermediate and advanced material in relevant areas of Law at undergraduate and postgraduate level to a high standard, particularly such or similar modules among the following: contract law, criminal law, legal system and method and public law.
- The ability to undertake appropriate administrative responsibilities to a high standard.
