We also take calculated risks and we celebrate big victories when they pay off.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><strong>What you’ll achieve:<br><br></strong>As a <strong>5G Software Engineer 2</strong>, you will work with a cross-functional global team to design, build and deliver production-ready software with Dell standards. You will work on a product that is adding intelligence and machine learning to the RAN which is a new edge and a huge differentiator for 5G networks. As part of the 5G team, you will work in collaboration with multiple teams around the world.<br><br>You Will:<br><br><strong>Essential Requirements:<br></strong><ul><li>More than 4 years of relevant experience</li><li>Demonstrable experience building highly available and scalable systems with cloud-native architecture</li><li>Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Go, Python, Java, and/or C++</li><li>Experience with object-oriented programming, Microservices, REST API design, and databases</li><li>Strong knowledge of Container Technologies and Kubernetes</li><li>Good knowledge of Linux and bash scripting<br><br></li></ul><strong>Desirable Requirements:<br></strong><ul><li>Networking knowledge</li><li>Knowledge of the 3GPP LTE-Advanced and 5GNR technologies and the 3GPP specification that defines them is a plus</li><li>Contributions to large open-source projects</li><li>Develop high quality, reliable and maintainable code</li><li>Design and Build a microservices solution using cutting edge technologies</li><li>Refactor Software for high performance</li><li>Write tested and maintainable code</li><li>Be agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we’re doing wrong so we can fix it, and what we’re doing right so we can improve on it<br><br></li></ul><strong>Take the first step towards your dream career<br><br></strong>Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.
