5G Platform – Cloud Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our creative talented team in Egypt. Candidates should come with willingness to learn and explore different technologies.

What you’ll achieve:

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will take part in software design and implementation of multiple projects with different technologies. You will collaborate with different engineering teams at Dell Technologies.

You Will: 

  • Be part of a creative team that work on projects ranging from Blockchain to R&D and cutting-edge technologies
  • Participate in project lifecycle from requirements gathering and implementation to project delivery
  • Work closely with cross functional stakeholders to present updates and understand new requirements
  • Collaborate with different Engineering teams at Dell Technologies

Essential Requirements:

  • Well-rounded in one or more of the following programming languages: C++, Python, Go
  • Knowledge of Object-oriented programming and Data Structures
  • Comfortable with Linux environment and of bash/shell scripting
  • Basic knowledge of Virtualization and Container Technologies
  • Basic Knowledge of Microservices
  • Familiar with Git

Desirable Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the 3GPP LTE-Advanced and 5GNR technologies and the 3GPP specification that defines them is a plus
  • Cloud Native Application development
  • Contributions to open-source projects
