We offer complete recruitment solution including Permanent, Contract and Temporary Indian &amp; Expat personnel across the<strong> oil and gas, energy, petrochemical, mining, infrastructure, power and water sectors </strong>around the Globe.<p><br></p>Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (B.Sc. / M.Sc./B.Eng.) and/or membership of internationally accepted applicable professional Institute.<p><br></p>Minimum of 8 years’ experience post engineering graduation involving design and engineering out of which minimum 3 years should be in general project engineering of oil and gas facilities, with a sound knowledge of project cost control/ planning, systems.<p><br></p>Time must have been spent as a single-point responsible engineering project engineer for medium size oil/ gas/ refinery petrochemical projects. Sound commercial appreciation and judgment. Good presentation skills and spoken/written English and PC literate<p><br></p>Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to form, smoothly interact and motivate a team within a matrix type organization and run numerous design projects simultaneously<p><br></p>Single point responsibility for the execution of design engineering projects.<p><br></p>To fully understand the requirements of the office quality system and ensure these requirements are met.<p><br></p>Ensure that HSE matters are given due consideration in project planning.<p><br></p>Ensure projects are executed in line with Client/International/ standards and specifications.<p><br></p>Actively pursue the evaluation and application of new technology in order to optimize future developments in terms of cost and operability.<p><br></p>Supervise advice and guide the discipline staff to ensure that their work is of the required quality. Highlight issues that may arise in priorities, workload, competency, etc.<p><br></p>To develop the scope of work handed over by the Client’s project engineer for each project to achieve the specified deliverables.<p><br></p>Exercising control over manpower and material resources in order to execute the project within budget, schedule, quality and HSE requirements.<p><br></p>To exercise change control and variance control on each project.<p><br></p>To ensure the communication with, and involvement of, all interested disciplines to each project. Reporting progress on projects to the Client’s project engineer in a timely manner, highlighting issues which could impact on quality, cost, schedule or HSE matters.<p><br></p>To actively train and encourage the development of Omani staff to fulfill project engineer roles.<p><br></p>Prepare technical documentation for Company tender documentation.<p><br></p>Expo Universe (www.expouniverse.com) is a Specialist International Recruitment Company in the Engineering and Technical Recruitment Domain.
