<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p><p>Performs the routine repair corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and rectification, as well as corrective maintenance on rotating process equipment and systems, in accordance with maintenance Standard Operating Procedures. Provides in the field support and oversight to a team of Technicians to complete day to day activities.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Must be a role model for safety and believe we can “Work safely or not at all” and embrace the Tenets of Operation as a basis for action and decision making.</li><li>Understands and promotes the concept of proactive safety and takes personal responsibility to seek out “at risk” behaviors and conditions to positively contribute to the overall goal of zero incidents.</li><li>Coordinates workload distribution to achieve optimal employee performance/productivity to complete scheduled or emergency work activities.</li><li>Performs plant maintenance activities work on rotating process equipment and systems.</li><li>Performs troubleshooting and rectification on rotating process equipment and systems.</li><li>Performs turnaround maintenance work for rotating equipment.</li><li>Ensures daily activity logs, SAP updates, and schedule updates are being completed efficiently and accurately.</li><li>Performs testing and commissioning of new and/or modified rotating process equipment and systems.</li><li>Applies safety procedures to ensure work activities are performed safely. Compiles with EHS systems. Ensures contractors</li><li>comply with the organization’s EHS standards and practices.</li><li>• Participate in the Planning/Scheduling/OMC/Maintenance coordination meetings. Ensure the weekly schedule is completed and updates are accurately provided to Planning per agreed schedule.</li><li>Participates in toolbox meetings prior to starting work activities.</li><li>Performs good housekeeping in the workplace.</li><li>Implements Standard Operating Procedures for maintenance work.</li><li>Applies for and obtain the type of work permit needed to carry out the maintenance job.</li><li>Provide guidance to junior staff.</li><li>Support efforts for meeting monthly KPI goals.</li><li>Strictly follows established environmental, health, safety and quality policies and procedures in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.</li><li>Undertakes accountabilities in the operational excellence process as set out in the schedule of responsibilities.</li><li>Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area assigned.</li><li>Performs any other relevant task as directed by Supervisor Rotating Equipment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Diploma / associate degree in Millwright / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent</li><li>10 years of experience.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><p>Good communication skills, good inter-personal skills, continuous learning capability, computer literacy, approachable personality, patience, respect for people.</p>
