Currently operating 180 + Hotels and Private Residences in major city centers and resort destination in 47 countries, and with many more projects in development stage, Four Seasons consistently ranks among the world’s best hotels and most prestigious brands in reader polls, traveler reviews and industry awards.<p><br></p><strong><u>Main Duties/Description</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>This position is responsible for managing the pastry and bakery team and production. </li><li>They will plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees. </li><li>They will be responsible for selection, training, leading and coaching of the culinary staff. </li><li>The Executive Pastry Chef will also be responsible for fostering a culture of creativity and innovation. </li><li>They will develop recipes and ensure the correct preparation and presentation of all pastry items. </li><li>They will be responsible for controlling labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling and inventory control. </li><li>They will communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met, coordinate tastings and pre-shift meetings with employees, attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments and interact directly with guests.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications And Skills</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Three to five years previous luxury hotels/ resorts experience in multiple culinary/food &amp; beverage department head positions specializing in pastry design and creation.</li><li>Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency.</li><li>Strong leadership skills, adaptability and high level of creativity </li><li>Coaching and People Development Skills.</li><li>Good F&amp;B knowledge with understanding of menu planning, cost management. </li><li>Culinary training or degree required.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>The Benefits Offered By Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait Include</u></strong><p><br></p>Department Head benefits as per Four Seasons Kuwait policy<p><br></p>Complimentary nights at other FS Hotels worldwide<p><br></p>Regular social and sports events<p><br></p>Paid home leave with flight tickets<p><br></p>Complimentary employee meals and Uniforms<p><br></p>Health medical and insurance benefits<p><br></p><strong>Work Authorization</strong><p><br></p>Hotel will apply for the Kuwait work authorization for the successful candidate.<p><br></p>We look forward to receive your application!
