Physical Security System Engineer
Job Description
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><br><br><ul><br> <li>Design and implement physical security systems, including CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, fire alarms and related technologies.</li><br> <li>Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify security requirements and propose appropriate solutions. </li><br> <li>Collaborate with clients, project managers, and cross-functional teams to gather system requirements and develop system designs. </li><br> <li>Configure, integrate, and test security products and solutions, ensuring seamless interoperability and optimal performance.</li><br> <li>Install and commission physical security systems, ensuring they are operational and meet client specifications.</li><br> <li>Conduct system troubleshooting and provide timely resolution to technical issues.</li><br> <li>Stay up to date with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in physical security technology.</li><br> <li>Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client-specific security protocols.</li><br> <li>Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams on physical security systems.</li><br></ul><br><br><br><br><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><br><br><ul><br> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.</li><br> <li>Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Physical Security System Engineer, with a strong preference for hands-on experience with Bosch and Lenel security products.</li><br> <li>Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with physical security systems, including CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and related technologies, with a focus on Bosch and Lenel solutions.</li><br> <li>Familiarity with Bosch and Lenel product lines, their installation, configuration, and integration processes.</li><br> <li>Proficiency in system design, implementation, and troubleshooting, particularly in relation to Bosch and Lenel technologies.</li><br> <li>Understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, and network security principles.</li><br> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li><br> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders.</li><br> <li>Relevant certifications, particularly those related to Bosch or Lenel products, are highly desirable.</li></ul>
