<strong>Summary:</strong><p><br></p>Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability (E&amp;S) Director, the Technical Coordinator will support the E&amp;S Director in providing vital administrative and technical support to facilitate the achievement of initiatives and activities within the E&amp;S functional organization. <em>This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this position. The actual duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may vary based on assignment and are not limited to those listed.</em><p><br></p><strong>Core Role Responsibilities/ Accountability:</strong><p><br></p>Analyzing data and information, performing gap assessments.<p><br></p><ul><li>Reviewing and summarizing project requirements into registers / logs / other formats.</li><li>Performing technical reviews of plans, procedures, and other Project documents.</li><li>Preparing content for progress reports, summaries, dashboards, etc.</li><li>Coordinating meetings and preparing minutes of meetings. </li><li>Preparing and maintaining team schedules, calendars, weekly and monthly plans.</li><li>Assisting with day-to-day coordination of logistics for team activities.</li><li>Developing environmental training and awareness materials and delivering training.</li><li>Preparing, contributing to, or maintaining documents including environmental plans and procedures, risk registers, compliance obligation registers, objectives, targets, KPIs, inspection and monitoring forms or logs.</li><li>Assisting with the achievement of environment and sustainability objectives, targets and KPIs as necessary.</li></ul> Performing any other duties as might be necessary to achieve the Project’s environmental and sustainability requirements, objectives, and targets.<p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><strong>Required/Desired Qualifications:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum of a bachelor’s degree science or engineering from a recognized university in a physical or natural resource related field including environmental science, environmental engineering, etc. Environmental certifications / memberships such as IEMA, CEnv., REP / REM, QAES, CPESC, etc. would be an asset.</li></ul><strong>Required/ Desired Skills and Experience:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>2 or more years of experience in consulting or project management for civil infrastructure projects in the fields of environment and/ or sustainability. GCC experience preferred.</li><li>Experienced in the preparation and review of technical documents.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in the English language. </li><li>Excellent attention to detail- ensures that work products are thorough, accurate, precise, and free of errors.</li><li>Excellent analytical, investigative, and creative problem-solving skills.</li><li>Carefully follows written and/or verbal instructions or directions. Asks for clarification, if necessary.</li><li>Requires minimal supervision in performance of tasks.</li><li>Agile and adaptable- able to carry out different tasks as might be needed to achieve team objectives.</li><li>Organizational and time management skills- ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within required timeframes.</li><li>Ability to summarize complex or detailed information and effectively communicate outcomes to a non-technical audience through various means including reports, logs, trends, emails, presentations, etc.</li><li>Works well in a team environment and respectfully and effectively collaborates with persons from diverse ethnic and socio-cultural backgrounds.</li></ul> Demonstrates integrity, fairness, and professionalism in all interactions.
