Product Designer/ UI-UX Designer (Mobile App)
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Product Designer to join our sports fan engagement platform. As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping and enhancing our platform’s user experience and visual design. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive and engaging designs.<p><br></p>User Research and Analysis:<p><br></p><ul><li>Conduct user research to understand the needs, goals, and pain points of our target audience.</li><li>Analyze user feedback, behavior, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform design decisions.</li></ul><p><br></p>UX/UI Design:<p><br></p><ul><li>Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to illustrate and communicate design concepts and interactions.</li><li>Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand guidelines and overall product vision.</li><li>Collaborate with the development team to ensure the feasibility and implementation of designs.</li></ul><p><br></p>User Testing and Iteration:<p><br></p><ul><li>Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and refine designs.</li><li>Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, industry best practices, and emerging trends.</li></ul><p><br></p>Collaborative Teamwork:<p><br></p><ul><li>Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, set priorities, and ensure alignment.</li><li>Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively to stakeholders and obtain buy-in for proposed solutions.</li></ul><p><br></p>Design System and Documentation:<p><br></p><ul><li>Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure consistency and scalability across our platform.</li></ul><p><br></p>Document design guidelines, patterns, and standards for reference and future use.<p><br></p><ul><li>User Research and Analysis: Proficiency in conducting user research, gathering and analyzing user feedback and data to inform design decisions.</li><li>Wireframing and Prototyping: Skill in creating wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts and user flows.</li><li>Visual Design: Ability to create visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing designs that align with brand guidelines and user experience goals.</li><li>Interaction Design: Competence in designing intuitive and seamless interactions between users and digital products, considering usability and accessibility.</li><li>Information Architecture: Knowledge of organizing and structuring information in a logical and user-friendly manner within the product interface.</li><li>Usability Testing and Validation: Experience in conducting usability tests, collecting user feedback, and iterating on designs based on user insights.</li><li>Design Systems and Guidelines: Understanding of design systems and the ability to create and maintain design guidelines for consistency across products and platforms.</li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skill in collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design efforts with product goals and requirements.</li><li>Industry Trends and Tools: Keeping up with the latest design trends, emerging technologies, and tools to enhance design skills and efficiency.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p>Experience:<p><br></p><ul><li>Professional experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer.</li><li>Strong portfolio demonstrating a solid foundation in user-centered design principles and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Experience designing mobile applications.</li></ul><p><br></p>Design Skills:<p><br></p><ul><li>Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.</li><li>Ability to create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.</li><li>Solid understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.</li></ul><p><br></p>User-Centric Mindset:<p><br></p><ul><li>Strong user empathy and ability to advocate for the user throughout the design process.</li><li>Ability to conduct user research, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable design improvements.</li><li>Familiarity with usability testing methodologies and usability best practices.</li></ul><p><br></p>Collaboration and Communication:<p><br></p><ul><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to present and articulate design solutions to stakeholders.</li><li>Openness to feedback and willingness to iterate on designs based on user and stakeholder input.</li></ul><p><br></p>Passion for Sports is a plus.
