Job Description
Our Client is based in the UAE and seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team as an App Growth and Retention Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth and retention of our mobile app user base, as well as analyzing user behavior and implementing strategies to optimize app performance. You will also oversee App Store Optimization (ASO) efforts to increase app visibility and drive organic downloads<p><br></p><ul><li>Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies to increase the user base of our mobile app.</li><li>Conduct market research and analysis to identify user acquisition channels, target demographics, and user preferences.</li><li>Optimize user onboarding and activation processes to improve user retention and engagement.</li><li>Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns on social channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), Google Ads, programmatic advertising platforms, and other relevant channels to drive app downloads and user engagement.</li><li>Analyze user behavior and app performance data using tools such as Google Analytics, to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven strategies.</li><li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to app growth, retention, and engagement, and provide regular reports and insights to the management team.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, and development, to implement growth initiatives and enhance the user experience.</li><li>Lead App Store Optimization (ASO) efforts using tools such as Apptweak or Appfigures to improve app visibility and increase organic downloads.(Preferred)</li><li>Conduct competitive analysis using tools like Ahrefs or SEM Rush to stay informed about industry trends and best practice and enhance our website visibility. (Preferred)</li><li>Stay up to date with the latest mobile app marketing techniques, industry news, and emerging technologies to ensure our app remains competitive.</li><li>User Acquisition: Proficiency in designing and executing user acquisition strategies, including knowledge of various user acquisition channels, campaign optimization, and targeting techniques.</li><li>Retention and Engagement Strategies: Understanding of retention and engagement tactics, such as personalized onboarding, push notifications, in-app messaging, and loyalty programs, to drive user engagement and long-term retention.</li><li>Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Expertise in optimizing app conversion funnels, conducting A/B tests, and employing CRO best practices to increase user conversion rates and drive growth.</li><li>Data Analysis and Insights: Strong analytical skills to analyze user behavior, app performance, and conversion metrics using analytics tools, and derive actionable insights to inform growth strategies.</li><li>App Store Optimization (ASO): Knowledge of ASO techniques, including keyword research, app description optimization, ratings and reviews management, and visual asset optimization, to enhance app visibility and attract organic app downloads.</li><li>Performance Marketing: Proficiency in managing performance marketing campaigns across various channels, such as social media advertising, mobile ad networks, and search engine marketing (SEM), to drive user acquisition and app growth.</li><li>Analytics and Reporting: Ability to generate reports and dashboards, interpret growth metrics, and communicate performance results to stakeholders using analytics and reporting tools.</li><li>Growth Hacking: Knowledge of growth hacking techniques and creative experimentation to identify and implement unconventional growth strategies that yield rapid and scalable results.</li><li>Mobile App Ecosystem: Understanding of the mobile app ecosystem, including app stores, app development frameworks, mobile analytics tools, and emerging technologies, to optimize growth efforts.</li></ul><p><br></p>Lifecycle Marketing: Familiarity with lifecycle marketing strategies, including user segmentation, personalized messaging, and drip campaigns, to nurture and engage users at different stages of their app journey.<p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in mobile app growth and retention, preferably in a similar role within the technology or mobile app industry.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude or Mixpanel to extract actionable insights from data.</li><li>Familiarity with App Store Optimization (ASO) techniques and tools such as Apptweak and Appfigures. (Preferred)</li><li>Experience in planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns on social channels and other relevant paid media channels.</li><li>Knowledge of user acquisition strategies, including paid advertising, influencer marketing, and content marketing.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of delivering measurable results.</li></ul> Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization is a plus.
