<strong>Overview / Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p>Wood is currently looking for a Senior Expeditor to strengthen our team in Dubai.<p><br></p>Responsibilities:<p><br><br></p><ul><li> Creation of daily expediting reports in the materials management system </li><li> Expediting purchase orders daily with a priority focus </li><li> Updating of materials management system with the expediting status of Purchase Orders </li><li> Continually set expediting updates in the materials management system </li><li> Chair weekly Procurement Status Review Meeting (Review of Status Report) with the Project Team </li><li> Coordinate Post order supplier technical queries and deviation requests </li><li> Liaison/Coordination with QA/QC International field expediting services through the Client’s appointed third-party agency(s), as required </li><li> Liaison/Coordination with QA/QC for International QA/QC support services through the Client’s appointed third-party agency(s), as required </li><li> Liaison/Coordination with QA/QC for issuance of IRN (after successful FAT/IFAT/desk review of certificate/reports) </li><li> Liaise with field expediting suppliers to coordinate expediting visits </li><li> Receive, review and issue field expediting progress reports and update the system accordingly </li><li> Review expediting reports to confirm the status of orders, and sub-orders and validate the agreed manufacturing schedules </li><li> Monitor the progress of receipt and return of supplier documentation </li><li> Notifying Asset Focal Points of any potential schedule slippages </li><li> Negotiate improved delivery/recovery plans where required </li><li> Visit suppliers on request of the SCM on the project </li><li> Maintain an auditable file of all relevant purchasing documentation for each purchase order in the relevant shared drive/area </li><li> Demonstrate commitment to safe working practices </li><li> Demonstrate commitment to Woods vision, values, and behaviors </li><li> Contribution to the post-order supplier performance evaluations <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Skills / Qualifications</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree is required preferably in Electrical & Instrumentation </li><li> 10 years of Industry Experience </li><li> Minimum of 5 years of Expediting experience in the Oil and Gas industries </li><li> T he individual should have previous experience in a similar level role <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Company Overview</strong><p><br></p>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
