<strong>Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for interior design projects, considering materials, labour, equipment, and other relevant expenses. </li><li>Work closely with the project team to establish realistic budgets that align with client expectations. </li><li>Conduct regular cost reviews and updates throughout the project lifecycle. </li><li>Assist in the procurement process by preparing tender documents and specifications. </li><li>Evaluate bids from contractors and suppliers, analysing costs and benefits. </li><li>Make recommendations to the client regarding contractor and supplier selection. </li><li>Prepare and administer contracts between the organization and contractors. </li><li>Ensure contract terms are fair, reasonable, and in compliance with industry standards. </li><li>Manage variations, claims, and contractual disputes that may arise during projects. </li><li>Monitor project progress and track costs against the budget. </li><li>Monitor project costs, identify cost overruns or savings opportunities, and implement cost control measures. </li><li>Collaborate with the project team to suggest value engineering techniques that achieve desired quality at reduced costs. </li><li>Provide cost advice during project feasibility studies and decision-making processes. </li><li>Measure and value work completed by contractors at different project stages. </li><li>Ensure contractor invoices align with actual work performed, following standardised measurement practices. </li><li>Assess progress payments, variations, and final accounts accurately. </li><li>Identify and assess potential risks that may impact project costs and schedules. </li><li>Develop risk mitigation strategies, including contingency plans and insurance coverage. </li><li>Provide cost advice on project feasibility studies and risk analysis. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. </li><li>Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the interior design or construction industry. </li><li>Minimum 4years of work experience in UAE </li><li>Available in UAE to attend direct interview </li><li>Strong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, and cost control techniques. </li><li>Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for quantity surveying and cost management. </li><li>Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail. </li><li>Effective communication and negotiation skills to interact with stakeholders at various levels. </li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team. </li><li>Familiarity with local building regulations, codes, and industry standards. </li><li>Professional certifications or memberships in relevant organizations are preferred.</li></ul>
