Part A: Job Specification<p><br></p>Job Purpose<p><br></p>Identifying all activities potentially claimable by Contractor and potentially back chargeable to CONTRACTOR, on a day-to-day basis during the onshore fabrication, offshore SIMOPS, Hook up and commissioning. The job holders will support the business team in verification of construction progress at both onshore & offshore locations. For offshore locations, shall ensure all man-hours are accurately recorded, issue a weekly reports on manhours including standby man-hours, non productive man-hours, and prepare all documentation to defend claims from CONTRACTOR and support claims/backcharges against CONTRACTOR. alignment with the PMT on quantity surveying needs, objectives, and requirements</li><li> Establish compliance with relevant project processes and procedures</li><li> Review relevant Contractor’s procedures, plan, manpower loading for construction works</li><li> Attend daily onshore & offshore meetings and follow performance of all activities with particular regard to identifying activities claimable by Contractor and back chargeable to Contractor – standby due to Contractor/Company, equipment downtime/breakdown, material availability, onshore punch list and potential carry over works, rectifications and repairs, and prepare all documentation to support further processing.</li><li> Review daily reports issued by contractor and issue daily/weekly status mails as required</li><li> Prepare consolidated weekly tabulations summarizing all activities back-chargeable to Contractor and his subcontractors</li><li> Compare quantities delivered against those defined in purchase orders where necessary for any reconciliation</li><li> Assist contract & procurement teams with QS inputs in finalization of change orders</li><li> Assess Contractor onshore performance and progress against planned construction schedule</li><li> Assess Contractor offshore performance and progress against job cards and offshore schedule, identify slippages with reasons</li><li> Provide support to planners with QS inputs in verifying claimed progress and forecasts</li><li> Liaise with contracts team and provide all supporting documentation for processing claims/backcharges.</li><li> Liaise with contracts team for preparation and issue contractual letters</li><li> Liaise with contracts for evaluation of contractor claims on cost or schedule</li><li> Provide manhour input for monthly reports</li><li> Provide subcontracting administration support required</li><li> Document all Lessons Learned through various stages of quantity surveying Person Specification – Minimum Requirements<p><br></p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> BA/BS Preferred</li><li> Extensive & relevant natural gas/oil industry experience</li></ul><p><br></p>Knowledge and/or Experience<p><br></p><ul><li> Have strong working knowledge of offshore construction and commissioning activities including in a brownfield environment</li><li> Experience within project: (number of years) : 10 with 5 years as QS on major oil & gas projects</li><li> Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment is essential.</li><li> Capable of proposing project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.</li><li> Ability to influence and encourage personnel.</li><li> Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.</li><li> Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, spreadsheets and e-mail communications.</li><li> Ability to work under pressure and manage
