Job Description

Eram Talent, a global Talent Acquisition Company in the Oil &amp; Energy Industry, is seeking a knowledgeable Geophysicist to join their team. As a Geophysicist, you will be responsible for the interpretation of geophysical data and the production of subsurface maps and models. You will also be involved in identifying drilling locations and assessing the potential of new exploration areas.<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Analyze geophysical data to create subsurface maps and models</li><li>Interpret seismic data to identify potential drilling locations</li><li>Assess and interpret information on oil and gas sub-surface structures</li><li>Work with other professionals, including geologists, to determine drilling locations</li><li>Use computer programs to process and analyze geophysical data sets</li><li>Contribute to exploration and production activities</li><li>Conduct research to improve understanding of subsurface geology and methods of resource extraction</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Geology, or a related field</li><li>At least 8 years of experience in the oil and energy industry</li><li>Experience in interpreting 3D seismic data</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Willingness to travel as needed for project work</li></ul>
