Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL) is the logistics provider of the world with over 520,000 employees in more than 220 countries and territories.<br><br>DHL Supply chain offers standardized Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage Specialist as well as highly specialized end-to-end solutions to customers in a wide range of industries globally.<br><br>Currently, we are seeking a dynamic person to take on the role <strong>Facility Analyst</strong> based in KSA- Al Khobar.<br><br><strong>Objective:<br><br></strong>Participate in design and management of services and processes to ensure implementation of facilities management strategy for maximum efficiency and that the most suitable working environment is attained for its employees and their activities. Ensure general upkeep and maintenance of buildings so that they meet health and safety standards and the legal requirements while managing the budgets and keeping records of all payments.<br><br><strong>General Responsibilities: <br><br><br></strong><ul><li> Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments</li><li> Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards</li><li> Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations</li><li> Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs</li><li> Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors</li><li> Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.</li><li> Allocate office space according to needs</li><li> Handle insurance plans and service contracts</li><li> Keep financial and non-financial records</li><li> Perform analysis and forecasting<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualification:<br><br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s Degree in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field or in relevant field</li><li> Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CFM) will be an advantage.</li><li> 2-5 years’ experience in facility management, engineering, business administration. (Mandatory)<br><br></li></ul><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills:<br><br></strong><ul><li> Explain facts, policies and practices related to job area</li><li> Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own sub-function</li><li> Develop a network of contacts to build up relationships and strengthen the organizational, product and market knowledge</li><li> Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices</li><li> Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles</li><li> Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li> Good analytical/critical thinking</li><li> Strong knowledge of facilities management operations</li><li> Familiarity with office equipment and security systems</li><li> Hands on experience with facilities management software is a plus</li><li> Understanding of safety regulations in offices</li><li> Sound judgement and the ability to think quickly during emergencies<br><br></li></ul><strong>Why join DHL Supply chain?<br><br></strong>As the world’s largest contract logistics specialist, we create competitive advantage for customers through customized logistics solutions based on globally standardized warehousing, transportation and integrated services components.
