Eram Talent, a Talent Acquisition Company, is seeking a Geologist for a leading Oil &amp; Energy company. As the Geologist, you will be responsible for conducting research on properties surrounding oil and gas deposits, analyzing data to predict future conditions and directing drilling operations. The successful candidate should possess strong analytical skills, critical thinking and an attention to detail.<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Conduct research on properties surrounding oil and gas deposits</li><li>Analyze data to predict future conditions</li><li>Direct drilling operations</li><li>Create, maintain, and analyze geological and geophysical databases</li><li>Prepare maps, cross-sections, and geological diagrams</li><li>Estimate the potential for commercial extraction of oil, gas, and minerals</li><li>Monitor the progress of drilling operations and make modifications to drilling plans as needed</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field</li><li>10+ years of experience in the Oil &amp; Energy industry</li><li>Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and attention to detail</li><li>Proficient in computer and software applications, including mapping, modeling, and database software</li><li>Knowledge of geological software packages, such as PETRA, Landmark, and Kingdom Suite</li><li>Ability to interpret geophysical data sets, including seismic, gravity, and electromagnetic surveys</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in presenting technical data to non-technical stakeholders</li></ul>
