Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Environmental Specialist to join the Environmental and Sustainability team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.<p><br></p>Our Environmental &amp; Sustainability (E&amp;S) Group works throughout the world to provide our clients with expertise in Environmental Assessment &amp; Management, Due Diligence, Sustainable Development Design, Water Resources, Climate Change and Social Impact Management.<p><br></p><strong><u>As The Successful Candidate, You Will</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Contribute to high-quality technical services related to Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), environmental modelling and monitoring assignments, due diligence, reporting and benchmarking and corporate Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS)</li><li> Contribute to Sustainability/ESG programs and reporting through materiality assessment, benchmarking, gap analysis, KPI identification and stakeholder engagement</li><li> Support sustainability disclosures and reporting in line with leading frameworks (e.g. CDP, GRI, TCFD)</li><li> Ensure all environmental, sustainability and social impact monitoring programs (sampling, measuring, recording etc. when specified) are carried out according to protocols and schedules</li><li> Collaborate with and support our senior consultants and engineers across the business</li><li> Collaborate with and support colleagues in the preparation of bids and technical proposals</li><li> Liaise our engineering team and global E&amp;S Group leads to identify environmental opportunities</li><li> Travel within UAE, the Middle East and other regions as necessary.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>You Bring To The Role</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> A Bachelor or Masters’ degree in environmental sciences, environmental &amp; sustainability management, environmental engineering, or a related discipline</li><li> 7+ years of work experience in the field of environment and sustainability</li><li> A well-informed understanding of global trends and perspectives on issues relating to business’s economic, social, and environmental impacts</li><li> Graduate or entry-level membership of a professional body (IEMA, CIWEM, CIEEM or equivalent) will be an advantage</li><li> A good communicator that enjoys working as an integral part of a team</li><li> A valid UAE driving license is mandatory</li><li> Experience working on industrial or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.</li></ul><p><br></p>Why join us?<p><br></p><ul><li> Work with great people to make a difference </li><li> Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions </li><li> Top employer </li></ul><p><br></p>What we offer you?<p><br></p><ul><li> Flexible work environment </li><li> Long term career development </li><li> Think globally, work locally</li></ul>
