You will be responsible for conducting surgical procedures, providing pre-operative and post-operative care, and collaborating with other medical staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes.<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Conduct surgical procedures on infants, children, adolescents, and young adults</li><li>Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients</li><li>Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss surgical procedures and answer questions or concerns they may have</li><li>Collaborate with medical staff to design and implement comprehensive treatment plans</li><li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs</li><li>Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly</li><li>Maintain patient records and document all procedures in electronic health records</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school</li><li>Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric surgery</li><li>Valid state medical license</li><li>Completion of pediatric surgical residency program</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Willingness to work within a team-centered approach and collaborate with other medical staff</li></ul>
