<strong><u>About The Role</u></strong><p><br></p>Our position <strong>Sales Promoter North Africa</strong> is based in Casablanca, Morocco.<p><br></p>The Sales Promoter for North Africa will manage gourmet distributors and key accounts and drive sales within the region. This role requires a strong focus on marketing and sales and a deep understanding of the gourmet food market. The position will work closely with distributors, execute the sales strategy, and contribute to business development initiatives.<p><br></p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities Include</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Develop and manage pricing strategies in coordination with the sales and marketing teams </li><li> Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to optimize pricing structures </li><li> Implement promotional activities and incentives to drive sales growth </li><li> Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional plans aligned with sales objectives </li><li> Coordinate marketing campaigns and ensure effective implementation at the account level </li><li> Monitor the success of promotional activities and provide feedback for future improvements </li><li> Close Follow-up of Orders with Distributors and Forecast </li><li> Maintain strong relationships with distributors and ensure timely order processing </li><li> Monitor order fulfilment, resolve any issues, and provide the necessary support </li><li> Analyze sales data and forecast demand to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely product availability </li><li> Deliver Monthly and Quarterly Meetings Preparation </li><li> Prepare and deliver comprehensive sales reports and presentations for monthly and quarterly meetings </li><li> Share insights, sales performance analysis, and recommendations with stakeholders </li><li> Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and action plans </li><li> Stay updated on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities </li><li> Gather market intelligence and provide insights to support decision-making and identify growth opportunities </li><li> Conduct regular market visits to build relationships with key stakeholders and gather firsthand market information </li><li> Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels </li><li> Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients </li><li> Collaborate with distributors to negotiate and implement sales plans and action strategies </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>About You</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience) </li><li> Proven experience in sales and account management within the food industry, the luxury industry or high-level hospitality </li><li> Proven experience in value creation and brand launch </li><li> Strong knowledge of marketing and sales principles and practices </li><li> Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. </li><li> Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer insights </li><li> Proficiency in English, French and Arabic </li><li> SAP and Sage knowledge preferred </li></ul><p><br></p>At Barry Callebaut, we are committed to Diversity & Inclusion.
