Job Description

<p><strong>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong></p><p>Knowledge of all accounting functions and related internal controls, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory. <span>Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings. Ensure balance sheet accounts are appropriately reconciled, analyzed and controlled. Support both internal and external audit processes. Perform other duties as assigned.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Managing all accounting transactions.</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Preparing monthly P&amp;L with all management reports.</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Preparing monthly Balance sheet and Cash Flow.</p><p>Ø&nbsp;General Ledger Control Accounts reconciliation.</p><p>Ø&nbsp;General customs advance preparation &amp; clearing.</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Strong knowledge in different types of Egyptian Taxes Law.</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Preparing supplier reconciliation</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Preparing daily cash flow &amp; monitoring all the bank accounts on daily basis.</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Calculating and preparing Retail staff monthly Sales commission.</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Coordinate &amp; communicate with all internal departments on the finance related issues.</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Auditing daily sales of all retail shops. This involves the tallying of total with the credit card transitions, cash collection and discount entries. Taking approvals for the discounts given. </p><p>Ø&nbsp;Monitoring &amp; checking the complete inventory movements to the retail shops from factory &amp; warehouse.</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Auditing &amp; posting of all internal transfers between stores and direct deliveries to the stores.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Support from Head Office</u></strong></p><p>Ø&nbsp;HR and payroll support for hiring, salary transfer, final settlement, OT and implementing group policies and procedures on timely manner.</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Central Finance support in terms of preparing reports, P&amp;L, B/S and cash flow and audit related queries and inventory invoice posting, movement and counting journal and variance posting.</p><p>Ø&nbsp;IT support, training, system enhancement </p><p>Ø&nbsp;Risk department for inventory reconciliation between 3PL and our system warehouse stock</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Procurement support for buying and shipping</p><p>Ø&nbsp;Adhoc support as required.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><span>Ø&nbsp;</span><span>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree is a must.</span></p><p><span>Ø&nbsp;</span><span>Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.</span></p><p><span>Ø&nbsp;</span>Minimum of 6 years of experience in <span>Accountant including 3 years as a senior accountant, or in a similar role is a must (Food industry).</span></p><p><span>Ø&nbsp;</span><span>Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures. </span></p><p><span>Ø&nbsp;</span><span>Hands-on experience with accounting software. </span></p><p><span>Ø&nbsp;</span><span>Knowledge of payroll functions and taxes is a plus.</span></p><p><span>Ø&nbsp;</span><span>Strong English communication skills.</span></p><p><span>Ø&nbsp;</span><span>Strong problem solving and analytical skills.</span></p><p><span>Ø&nbsp;</span><span>Managing skills.</span></p><p>Ø&nbsp;<span>Operational experience.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>To apply kindly send your resume to&nbsp;</span>careers@alrifaiarabia.com<span>&nbsp;and mention Senior Accountant in subject</span>.</p>
