<strong><u>Job Description</u></strong><p><br></p><strong>Job Description – Procurement Manager</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Strategic planning for sourcing activities – </li><li>aligning the procurement activities as per organization objectives, identifying potential suppliers, and assessing risks and opportunities. </li><li>Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to optimize procurement costs without compromising quality</li><li>Implementing strategies to ensure continuity of supply and minimize the impact of unforeseen events</li><li>Purchase requests</li><li>Drafting RFPs</li><li>Selection of suppliers</li><li>Issuance of orders</li><li>Create an approval matrix for sourcing activities</li><li>Management of procurement functions as per policies and procedures</li><li>Master vendor data management</li><li>Tracking supplier performance and conducting regular performance reviews</li><li>Contract Negotiation – Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers, including pricing, terms and conditions, delivery schedules, and service level agreements. Ensuring that contracts are favourable and in compliance with legal requirements.</li><li>Able to develop procurement strategies</li><li>Developing and implementing efficient procedures and workflows to streamline the procurement process and minimize costs</li><li>Draft purchase contract terms and conditions, liaise with legal to finalise sourcing general terms and conditions</li><li>Liaise with suppliers and project managers</li><li>Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements</li><li>Guide and assist in the creation of :</li><li>Developing procurement budgets and monitoring expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints</li><li> Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices in procurement</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Experience in procurement functions, preferably in MNCs</li><li>Arabic language proficiency</li><li>Minimum of 8 to 10 years of extensive experience in procurement functions</li><li>Able to draft procurement policies and procedures</li><li>Strong project management skills</li><li>Negotiation skills</li><li>Ability to work well in high-pressure situations to meet deadlines</li><li>Certifications in any of the qualifications (CPSM, CPSD, CPIM, CSCP or similar) along with bachelor or post-graduation</li><li>Experience with various ERP systems</li></ul>
