Job Description

<li>JOB PURPOSE</li> We are looking for a HSE Supervisor to join our ongoing Riyadh project in Saudi Arabia. The HSE Inspector will be responsible for supporting the HSE Team, providing our client with the assurance that consultants are performing their HSE responsibilities in accordance with their contract. <li>GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS</li> Education <ul> <li>Hold a BSc or equivalent health and safety qualification</li> </ul> Experience <ul> <li>8:10 Years for Diploma or 3 years for Bachelor’s Degree</li> </ul> Computer Skills <ul> <li>Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office.</li> </ul> Technical Skills/Personal C0ompetencies <ul> <li>At least 5 years’ experience in the field of HSE within the construction sector</li> <li>Experience in construction or other infrastructure is preferred</li> <li>Hold a BSc or equivalent health and safety qualification</li> <li>Hold international accredited safety certifications such as NEBOSH and IOSH</li> <li>Have an internal / external auditing qualification, ISO 45001, 14001 or 9001</li> </ul> Languages <ul> <li>Proficiency in English, and Arabic if needed.</li> </ul> Written and Verbal Communication Skills <ul> <li>Fluent command of English Language (oral & written)</li> </ul> <li>AUTHORITY </li> FINANCIAL NO NON-FINANCIAL YES <li>REPORTING LEVEL</li> SUPERVISION RECEIVED BY THIS JOB (Job Title of Immediate Superior) SUPERVISION GIVEN BY THIS JOB (Job Titles and Number of Individuals Supervised by this Job, if any) OTHER REPORTING LEVELS (If any) <ul> <li>Project Manager </li> </ul> <li>OPERATING NETWORK</li> EXTERNAL (Networks that influence the position) INTERNAL EXTERNAL (Networks that are influenced by the position) <ul> <li> Client site project team </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Within the project team </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Project end users </li> </ul> <li>KEY RESULT AREAS (KRAs) and LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES</li> KEY RESULT AREAS (KRAs) (Identify the major areas or activities that will produce the contributions that the company expects from the employee) LIST OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Identify routine and non-routine functions the employee needs to perform to meet the identified KRA. As much as possible, highlight the result that is expected from each task) LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY (Full, Partial, Supporting Duties: <ul> <li>Major:</li> <li>Promote and encourage positive behaviours in support of the achievement of a positive health & safety culture</li> <li>Assess, communicate and monitor HSE performance and compliance in line with statutory requirements</li> <li>Communicate effectively with site personnel and colleagues to promote Health and Safety at Work</li> <li>Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies</li> <li>Support the delivery of training and awareness sessions as required</li> <li>Review and comment on contractors HSE Documents and Method Statements and Risk Assessments for compliance</li> <li>Conduct HSE Inspections and audits of projects and management systems and concisely asses’ levels of compliance with current company and legal requirements</li> <li>Develop and apply technical knowledge relevant to the specific HSE risks associated with our activities</li> <li>Maintain a current knowledge of Local and International Health and Safety Rules and Regulations</li> <li>Minor: </li> </ul> FULL KPIs: Meeting project timeline with on time job supervision of project team as per codes and standards
