Job Description
<ul><li>Works as a crew member (Pilot launches, port tugs, Navigation buoys vessel, Speed boats and other small crafts) and on the quays, as required</li><li>Works as a member of the Oil Spill Team including deploying, Recovery of oil spill equipment, and cleaning the spill.</li><li>Takes part in all activities delegated by the skipper </li><li>Participates in all emergencies and drills </li><li>Responds to all emergencies and acts as per given duties </li><li>Reports any unsafe activities to skipper </li><li>Participate in all cleaning duties. </li><li>Ensures that vessel is ready for receiving passengers always </li><li>Ensures that there are enough cleaning materials on board </li><li>Washes the boat externally after each trip and thoroughly at the end of each shift </li><li>Ensures that all luggage compartments are clean and tidy always </li><li>Completes the passenger manifest before departure and ensures the skipper is informed </li><li>Ensures all lost and found items to be safely handed over to the skipper </li><li>Does proper handing over to the next shift indicating all the issues encountered.</li><li>Responsible for own personal hygiene </li><li>Ensures to maintain uniform and keep it in perfect condition </li><li>Responsible for proper and safe berthing and un-berthing procedures and during line handling</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>STCW certificates </li><li>Fire fighting certificate </li><li>First Aid Certificate </li><li>CDC Mandatory </li><li>Min 6month – 2years experience in Ports/Shipyards/Vessels/fishing vessels. </li><li>Intermediate school or ABC certificate (8 years) and 2 years applied study and training for seamen.</li><li>Communication skills in English are required.</li></ul>
