They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.<p><br></p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p>As a member of the procurement team, The Material Planning Analyst is responsible for coordinating escalations within the team in addiction to to the regular day to day execution work of his portfolio of Finished Goods<p><br></p><ul><li>Continuous review of TOP critical part numbers via Escalation Dashboard </li><li>Identify parts, out of the historical escalations to avoid future issues or negative impacts </li><li>Close collaboration with respective parties like “Customer Solutions, Operations &amp; Supply Chain, Planners, Quality and Engineering” </li><li>Be the driver for the detailed root cause analysis of escalations </li><li> Review and understand Liability Situation in close collaboration with Supply Chain, Liability Analysts and CS to drive supply communication accordingly </li><li>Be the central contact person for high level customer escalations </li><li>Internal and External communication with all respective parties (TE related and supplier related) </li><li>Tool related or machine related proper checkup for all part numbers involved with the escalated part in order to pass whole package to the allocation team </li><li>Ensure improved and clear communication throughout complete escalation process </li><li>Highlighting and measuring weekly all open escalations to Supply Chain Management for proper analysis of the root causes </li><li>Weekly review of current escalated parts which are heavily influencing the KPIs</li><li>Participation on regular team meetings to align targets &amp; roadmap </li><li>Ensure the escalation process is aligned with TE values and KPIs </li><li> Create meaning and accountability, </li><li> Ensure high quality on service and communication for internal and external parties </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>What Your Background Should Look Like</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management , engineering or similar</li><li>+3 years experience in similar or relevant positions such as production planning, purchasing, manufacturing…</li><li>Fluency in Eglish </li><li>SAP and Excel Knowledge</li><li>Strong communication</li><li>Analytical thinking combined with organized and driven execution</li><li>Leadership and teamwork</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><strong>Competencies</strong></strong><p><br></p>Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation<p><br></p><strong><u>About Te Connectivity</u></strong><p><br></p>TE Connectivity is a global technology leader enabling a secure, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
