Job Description
Job Summary:· We are seeking an experienced Network and Security Administrator with a strong background in public cloud management and security. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our organization’s network infrastructure and ensuring its security. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking and security principles, as well as experience with managing public cloud environments.Responsibilities:• Manage and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and other related equipment.• Develop and implement network security policies, procedures, and practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization’s data and systems.• Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, and take appropriate action to mitigate them.• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the organization’s network infrastructure.• Work with cloud service providers to manage and secure the organization’s public cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.• Configure and maintain virtual private networks (VPNs) to securely connect remote users and sites to the organization’s network.• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking and security technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to the organization’s infrastructure and processes.• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the organization’s network infrastructure is aligned with business needs and goals.Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.• 5+ years of experience in network and security administration, with a focus on public cloud management and security.• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, MPLS, and routing protocols.• Experience with configuring and managing firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), and other security technologies.• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, including knowledge of cloud security best practices.• Familiarity with compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.<p>If you meet the above qualifications and are passionate about network and security administration, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.</p>
