<p><strong>Role Summary:</strong></p><p>The Product Design/Development Engineering – Unconventional Frac Plug Team is an exciting and fast paced role within the CWI organization at CE. The position is within the Rapid Response Team for the field and sustaining projects for Frac Plugs and associated equipment. This position requires highly motivated and creative individuals who are comfortable working on both short- and long-term assignments.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for completion of component and product design within time, financial and technical guidelines established with the detailed assistance and approval of supervisor.</li><li>Performs component and system analysis, identifying stress levels, identifying compromises, and articulating technical risk.</li><li>Constructs or directs the construction of layouts of possible designs and makes “best choice” recommendations to supervisor.</li><li>Direct the completion of manufacturing drawings and working layouts for product designs. Assists drafters/technicians in assembly and lab testing of prototypes.</li><li>Designs qualification testing fixtures and test procedures.</li><li>Conduct field evaluation of new products and investigate problems associated with existing products.</li><li>Provide basic technical assistance to worldwide field operations and plant personnel.</li><li>Assist in project planning, creating development time and cost estimates.</li><li>Initiate purchase requisitions and part manufacture work requests.</li><li>Disposition rejects tags after sufficient experience gained, as determined by supervisor.</li><li>Handles special projects, as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications/Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Engineering environment; Bachelor’s Degree with5 years’ experience</li><li>Good individual communication skills with good problem solving ability.</li><li>Should possess good 2D &amp; 3D CAD skills (Solid Works preferred)</li><li>Ability to work “hands on” in a test lab facility.</li><li>Ability to prepare project plans and be able to provide cost and time to complete the project.</li><li>The successful candidate must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.</li><li>Ability to travel to remote field locations and work under less than ideal environmental conditions occasionally.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Characteristics:</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of connections and pipe mechanical properties with experience in design of down hole oil field equipment strongly preferred.</li><li>Understanding of basic oilfield practices and applications</li><li>Understanding and Experience in Unconventional Fracklogs design and qualifications process</li></ul><p><strong>Locations:</strong></p><p>Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)</p><p>This is your opportunity to learn more, do more, live the career you have imagined and be part of a truly diverse organization.</p><p><strong>Job:</strong> <em>Engineering/Technology</em></p><p><strong>Title:</strong> <em>Lead Designer – Unconventional Frac Plugs </em></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)</p><p></p>
