Draftsman Supervisor
Job Description
<ul><li>Leading the team of draftsmen in creating detailed, accurate technical drawings using Revit and CAD software, while applying in-depth understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings.</li><li>Supervising, evaluating, and directing the work of drafting personnel, ensuring the development and enhancement of their skills and performance; this includes providing appropriate feedback and performance assessments.</li><li>Working collaboratively with engineers, architects, and other professionals to interpret design concepts, thereby converting them into comprehensive technical blueprints.</li><li>Overseeing the establishment and maintenance of drafting standards and procedures, and ensuring their consistent application across all projects.</li><li>Managing project timelines, coordinating with other departments, and guaranteeing that drafting projects are completed within the specified timeframes, optimizing for efficiency without compromising on quality.</li><li>Proactively monitoring the technological advancements in drafting software and equipment, and arranging necessary training sessions for team members to ensure their knowledge and skills are up to date.</li><li>Validating the accuracy and quality of drawings before they are finalized, checking for compliance with project specifications, relevant codes, standards, and other regulatory requirements.</li><li>Regularly liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients to present drafts for review and modification, to ensure that the end products meet the required objectives.</li><li>Utilizing a valid Saudi Arabian driving license to travel for site visits, gathering accurate information and measurements for drafting tasks, as well as coordinating with on-site personnel.</li><li>Ensuring the departments operations comply with health and safety standards, creating a safe working environment, and instituting measures to prevent potential hazards associated with drafting activities.</li></ul><p><br></p>
