MENA Business Development Director – Fintech

<strong>Our Client<br></strong>A global digital payments business have an exciting newly created opportunity for a MENA BD Director to join their team in Dubai or KSA.<br><strong>Responsibilities</strong>：<br><ul><li>In charge of design development strategy for cross boarder payment cooperation with financial institution, design and optimize channel cooperation and operation practice, including Banking, third party payment institution, card organization, maintain good relations with external partners. </li><li>Be agile on marketing trend, be able to guide channel business development smartly based on business requirements. </li><li> Acquire and propagate strategic market trends, insights, intelligence across the regions payments regulatory, user-behavior and competitive landscape. </li><li>Bridge company and channel partners to perceive channel operation model and trend, to leverage management capability for channel partners. </li><li> Effectively partner with key departmental stakeholders and eloquently interpret local business requirements, risks, opportunities and mitigation solutions </li><li>Understand overseas policy and market practice for e payment and financial institution, know well of local financial policy. </li><li>Maintain partnership of overseas channels and boost overall channel business management skills. </li><li> Support local requirements where relevant such as office establishment, corporate governance matters, key-sponsorships and government-relations with support of regional and global management team. <br></li></ul><strong>Requirements：<br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years working experience, at least 5 years managing teams</li><li>Experience in MENA region in Finance Services, Banking or Payment company is highly preferred</li><li>Good cross functional communication and project implementation skills, can set up project team quicky across the team to achieve the target</li><li>Excellent English skills, be able to handle complex project and synergize internal and external resources</li><li>Be passionate of fast growing business with good ownership, can deliver under pressure and multi-cultural organization</li><li>In depth industrial experience (MENA fintech/payment industry), local regional level resource and network</li><li>Managed team across different locations and cultural background</li><li>Experince in M&A activity, buying start up environment and can be the bridge between ASIA and MENA team<br></li></ul><strong>Location:<br></strong>UAE, KSA or Bahrain (Frequent travel to KSA)<br><strong>Halian Group<br></strong>With over 20 years of experience, we have come to understand that innovation is the only way to provide agile, practical solutions that transform businesses and careers.<br>Our resourcing and smart services help you to realize tomorrow’s potential.
