<strong><u>Job Description</u></strong><p><br></p>Parsons is seeking an amazingly talented Senior Cost Manager, who will provide management and technical direction for all facets of operations in one discipline under administrative guidelines of the Division Manager and/or Corporate directive.<p><br></p><strong><u>What You’ll Be Doing</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Report to Senior Commercial Manager</li><li>Provide support and guidance on all commercial issues within the projects.</li><li>Interact with Commercial Team and client and address all inquiries related to commercial.</li><li>Payment of contractors and consultants</li><li>Internal cost comparisons and cost projections</li><li>Analysis of cost over-run and other implications.</li><li>Preparation of contractor pre-contract work packages; manage bid process; tender analysis.</li><li>Negotiate final accounts.</li><li>Maintain payment logs, variation logs and claims logs</li><li>Review variation submissions</li><li>Review change logs submitted by Cost Consultant</li><li>Prepare project cash flow updates.</li><li>Contribute to drafts of contractual letters.</li><li>Contribute to Claims reviews.</li><li>Advice on contractual matters related to financial issues.</li><li>Ensure completeness and validity of all contractual requirements</li><li>Ensure that quantity reconciliations are conducted accurately by the Cost Consultant.</li><li>Contribute to evaluation of prolongation costs and other cost claims.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>What Skills You’ll Bring</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field and 10 years demonstrable experience in commercial roles; 10 years on civil engineering projects; 5 years in GCC.</li><li>Knowledge of a wide range of contract conditions.</li><li>Knowledge of relevant IT packages and applications.</li><li>Knowledge of partnering contracts.</li><li>Knowledge of traditional and design and build contracts.</li><li>Good team player and communicator.</li><li>Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines</li><li>Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Minimum Clearance Required To Start</u></strong><p><br></p>Not Applicable/None<p><br></p>Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
