In this role you will get to provides guidance to employees and managers on a wide variety of Talent Management (TM) issues. The incumbent must be proficient in applying relevant TM principles, company policies, and practices to complete a wide variety of difficult and complex assignments. In addition, must demonstrate a thorough understanding of laws and regulations relevant to assigned area of responsibility. He/she is typically assigned within a single area of specialty or as a TM generalist for a medium-size organizational unit or a project location.<p><br></p><strong><u>What You’ll Be Doing</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Talent Acquisition:</li><li>Collaborates with Recruitment/Staffing team and hiring managers in defining position responsibilities and identifying potential qualified candidates.</li><li>Interviews and recommends placement of candidates for experienced technical, professional, and management positions. </li><li>Manages the hiring process including recommending salary offers, relocation packages, and addressing any other issues pertaining to prospective candidates. May negotiate relocation packages for employees being redeployed to new work locations.</li><li>Takes responsibility for long-range workforce planning, including project start-up and close out.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Employee Performance</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Provides guidance to managers regarding sensitive employee relations issues requiring the interpretation of company policies and guidelines.</li><li>Conducts employee investigations and evaluates findings, recommends appropriate action, and assists employee’s manager with counseling and/or other disciplinary action, including termination. Provides guidance to manager in preparing related documentation.</li><li>Investigates employee grievances, reviews employee appeals, recommends appropriate action, and facilitates a resolution with employees and their immediate supervisors.</li><li>Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>What Required Skills You’ll Bring</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or Human Resources (or equivalent) and typically 5+ years of related Human Resources experience. Professional certification (or equivalent) is preferred.</li><li>What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:</li><li></li><li> Ability to apply a wide variety of Talent Management principles, company policies, and practices to assigned area of responsibility and possess a thorough understanding of related laws and regulations.</li><li> Excellent interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to handle a wide variety of sensitive situations.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) with all levels of employees and managers on TM issues pertaining to assigned area of responsibility.</li><li>Ability to clearly articulate the application of relevant laws and regulations, as well as TM principles and company policies related to area of responsibility, in an effort to persuade and guide managers in making decisions.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to handle confidential assignments and work in a fast-paced, highly-visible environment.</li><li>Mastery of software (both standard programs and those specially designed for the HR field) required for related work assignments.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Minimum Clearance Required To Start</u></strong><p><br></p>Not Applicable/None<p><br></p>Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
