Software Testing Engineer
Job Description
<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>As a Software Testing Engineer at Valify, you will play a key role in ensuring that the software products and services developed by the company meet the high quality standards set by Valify. You will be responsible for both preventive and corrective actions, working closely with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce quality standards, processes, and procedures, as well as identifying and fixing defects or issues that occur during the development process or after the product is released.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure that the products meet the high-quality standards set by Valify.</li><li> Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, machine learning engineers, designers, and product managers, to understand product requirements and ensure that the products meet those requirements.</li><li>Identify and report defects and issues in a timely and efficient manner, using bug tracking tools and other defect management systems.</li><li>Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and testability.</li><li>Design and Develop automated tests to improve testing efficiency and coverage.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends related to software testing and quality assurance.</li><li>Continuously improve the quality process and methodologies to ensure that the products are delivered on time and with high quality.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.</li><li>At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.</li><li>Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.</li><li>Experience with testing Web apps, Mobile apps, APIs and sophisticated Machine Learning solutions.</li><li>Experience with different API platforms such as Postman.</li><li>Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as XCTest, Appium, or Selenium.</li><li>Experience with programming languages such as Swift, Java, or Python. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Passion for quality and customer experience.</li></ul>
