<p>ORIGIN is hiring a Senior Copywriter (English or Arabic) for its Beirut office.</p><p><br></p><p>Job Start Date: Immediate</p><p>Location: Zalka, Metn, Lebanon</p><p>Working Hours: 9am to 5pm</p><p>Working Days: Sunday to Thursday</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><span>We are looking for a </span><strong>Senior</strong><span> </span><strong>Copywriter</strong><span> to write clear and concise copy for websites, content strategies, ads, publications and other. Your words will inform and engage target audiences.</span></p><p><span>Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><span>• Develop and execute bilingual copy primarily for websites, abiding to SEO best practices.</span></p><p><span> • Create copy for landing pages, email marketing, blogs, company profiles, brochures, press releases and other materials. </span></p><p><span>• Support on the copywriting of other marketing materials, advertising, social media, and other communication channels.</span></p><p><span>• Create comprehensive content and communication strategies (target audience, competitive analysis, content pillars, communication guidelines, tone of voice, etc.) and support marketing strategies with adequate content. </span></p><p><span>• Develop innovative, forward-thinking creative strategies that align with current media trends, ensuring our brands remain at the forefront of the industry.</span></p><p><span>• Collaborate with the creative team, marketing managers, and project managers to understand project requirements, target audience, and brand guidelines.</span></p><p><span>• Collaborate with UX researchers, UI designers, SEO researchers, graphic designers, art directors, and marketing teams to ensure the integration of copy with visual elements.</span></p><p><span>• Engage in client meetings and consultations to understand project requirements, tone of voice, target audience, and brand guidelines.</span></p><p><span>• Conduct thorough research on products, services, target market, SEO keywords, and industry trends to create impactful and effective copy.</span></p><p><span>• Write and edit bilingual content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand voice in both English and Arabic.</span></p><p><span>• Proofread and review content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and adherence to brand guidelines and tone of voice.</span></p><p><span>• Apply a versatile range of writing styles, including persuasive, informative, descriptive, and narrative, adapting them to different contexts and target audiences.</span></p><p><span>• Tailor the tone and style of content to specific countries, ensuring grammatical correctness for different English variations (e.g., American, Australian, British).</span></p><p><span>• Translate English content to Arabic and vice versa, maintaining the original meaning, tone, and intent.</span></p><p><span>• Adapt copy to fit cultural nuances and sensitivities, ensuring relevance and resonance with the target audience.</span></p><p><span>• Act as a brand guardian, meticulously upholding guidelines and maintaining a consistent tone of voice across all communications.</span></p><p><span>• Conceptualize and brainstorm ideas for new campaigns, slogans, taglines, and brand messaging.</span></p><p><span>• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and linguistic developments to continually enhance copywriting skills and knowledge.</span></p><p><span>• Manage multiple projects seamlessly, efficiently switching between tasks without compromising quality or missing deadlines.</span></p><p><span>• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior copywriters, assisting in their professional development.</span></p><p><span>• Proficiently utilize content management systems, project management tools, and other commonly used software and applications in the marketing field.</span></p><p><span>• Demonstrate exceptional communication, collaboration, and time-management skills, thriving under tight deadlines while effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously</span></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Requirements and skills</strong></p><ul><li>5 years of experience, preferably 2+ years at an agency</li><li>Knowledge of online content strategy and creation</li><li>Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills</li><li>Experience with SEO</li><li>UX researching skills</li><li>Strong research skills</li><li>Creativity</li><li>Collaborative spirit</li><li>Ability to work independently when necessary and meet deadlines</li><li>BSc/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field</li></ul><p><br></p>
