BitOasis aims to offer the most secure and regulated infrastructure in cryptocurrency trading for retail and institutional clients across the region.<p><br></p><strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p>candidate will help business make critical financial decisions, collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finances, by implementing the following detailed responsibilities:<p><br></p><strong>Payables Accounting:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Receiving and checking all payable invoices and timely posting them in the accounting system in the respective entities</li><li> Booking payment entries for all payable invoices</li><li> Petty cash accounting and reconciliation</li><li> Accounting of employee expense re-imbursements</li><li> Fixed Assets accounting</li><li> Booking of corporate credit card expenses</li><li> Provide payables related audit information requests and any other ad-hoc requests which may be made from time to time. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Month end activities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Intercompany reconciliation</li><li> Payables sub-ledger reconciliation with GL</li><li> Preparation and maintenance of accruals, prepayment and other payroll related supporting schedules linking to the Balance Sheet</li><li> Extraction of data and support in preparation of consolidated financial statements</li><li> Assist in monthly reporting pack</li><li> Bank reconciliations</li><li> Maintenance of fixed assets register and reconcile monthly movements along with depreciation schedule</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Other Areas:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Supporting in providing data, information, and reports for annual audits</li><li> Assisting in vendor setup and other banking related matters as a part of payables process</li><li> Preparation of schedules as required for VAT reporting. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Qualified accountant (CPA/ACCA/CMA) preferred or currently studying. </li><li>5+ years of accounting, generation of FS and reporting</li><li>5+ years of experience in ERP accounting systems</li><li>Advanced MS Excel skills</li><li>Fintech accounting experience preferred. </li><li>High level of attention to detail</li><li>Excellent verbal and communication skills – English is a must</li><li>Excellent organisation and time management skills</li></ul>
