<p><strong><u>Position:</u></strong> Real Estate Subject Matter Expert&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Location:</u></strong>&nbsp;KSA</p><p><strong><u>Years of experience: 15+ years</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>Nature of Job:</u></strong> Remote with potential travel</p><p><strong><u>Duration:</u></strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;Up to 6 months</p><p><strong><u>Nature of Job: Freelance</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>About Management Partners</u></strong></p><p>Management Partners, established in 2010, is a leading boutique strategy consulting firm providing services across the Middle East to public and private sector entities primarily on strategy development and implementation, business &amp; technology transformation, and economic development topics.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Project Background</u></strong></p><p>We are seeking subject matter experts with relevant strategic experience in the&nbsp;real estate development &amp; investment domains for various projects in the real estate sector. We typically advise developers and government entities who are developing/ spearheading mixed residential &amp; commercial landmark projects, logistics centers and other types of commercial projects.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Expected duration &amp; location.</u></strong></p><p>The project is expected to be for a duration of up to 6 months and will be delivered remotely for the most part with a potential requirement for limited travel to the Middle East.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Typical project objectives &amp; scope of work:</u></strong></p><p>Our clients are typically interested in receiving robust advice on various strategic topics, one of which is on operationalizing the strategy, and further detailing the strategic initiatives by defining the proper strategic targets and key performance indicators, as they relate to the various strategic initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Role of the SME&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>SME’s play an important role in consulting projects. The expert role is typically defined as remote support to the team in the following ways:</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Initial direction &amp; guidance:</strong> As an expert, you will be requested to direct the team at the very beginning of the project on some of the key principles, key considerations and main areas of focus that need to be considered.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Sources, examples, case studies, etc.:</strong> You will be required to also guide the team on where to find material to back up your recommendations – including benchmarks, sources, other studies, other examples, etc. and answer any questions they may have.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Quality control:</strong> After the consulting team has prepared the documents and materials, they may request you to look or review and provide feedback on the end deliverables (typically in the range of 40-50 PPT slides for each)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Participation in client calls (as required)</strong>: client often requests to include experts on calls or in meetings as required where they are expected to share their experiences or explain points.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Participation in workshops:</strong> sometimes experts participate in workshops or onsite meetings where they are expected to support the team on various aspects of the workshops.</p><p>Estimated time required by the expert (SME) will be a few hours a month over a period of 6 months. Typically, this is a remote role, but may require some travel to the client location as required. If travel is required, all project-related travel costs will be reimbursed according to the existing business travel claims process &amp; policies we have in place.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Required Qualifications</u></strong></p><p>We typically, are interested in talking to senior people who have spent at least 5 years in senior positions of a strategic nature (CEO, CFO, COO, Head of Strategy, Board member, etc.) in a premier or well-regarded real estate developer, or senior roles in an investment bank or private equity firm focused on real estate or a renowned specialized or generalist consulting firm with a focus on real estate.</p><p>Typically, such a person has a strategic overview and perspective on what it takes to run and manage a real estate development company and what it takes to succeed and drive the team to attain the entity’s key objectives.&nbsp;</p>
