<p>Kutubna Cultural Center, set to open at the end of summer 2023 in Nadd Al Hamar, is looking to hire a mural painter / wall artist. We are looking for an artist to transform several walls before the middle of August.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span>The Center aims to celebrate the work of local and regional writers, poets, and scholars and promote reading among people of all ages, support writers with workshops and book launches, and offer events celebrating different cultures in the UAE.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Job Duties</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Propose artwork for a number of walls at the cultural center</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Discuss options with center leadership</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prepare the space for painting and artwork</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Create the wall art</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Potentially engage members of the community in some of the art projects</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Requirements</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Previous experience making wall art</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A clear proposal showing different options</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The ability to integrate relevant themes into the artwork</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>To apply, please send your portfolio to jobs@kutubna.ae.</p>
