Our clients include multinationals and SMEs, governments, non-governmental organisations, supra-nationals, and non-governmental organisations.<p><br></p><strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p><strong>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Develops, recommends, and implements policies and procedure manuals related to delivery of safe, efficient, quality imaging services aligned with organizational philosophies, objectives, mission and accreditation and contract compliance. </li><li>Represents imaging department for long range planning; monitors, audits, and evaluates the quality of services provided. Ensures consistent applications of policies and standards. </li><li>Identifies staffing needs adjusting for clinical volume rates. </li><li>Defines position competencies for the imaging modalities; provide staff training. Ensures effective utilization of staff and departmental resources. Ensures staff participation in all fire safety, infection control and other mandatory training. </li><li>Ensures open lines of communication are maintained among employees, physicians, peers, and others. </li><li>Advises Deputy Project Manager and Chief Medical Officer on problems related to collaborative service efforts and provide appropriate plan for resolution. </li><li>Actively attends and participates on essential committees of the medical department. Participates and promotes continuous quality improvement and management programs implementing and communicating corrective action plans and interventions. </li><li>Assesses and communicates departmental need for equipment and supplies; oversees equipment acquisition and maintenance requirments. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Operational responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Coordinates patient scheduling plans with front desk, physician/nursing staff; coordinate and schedule patients for treatment; assess patient, use proper patient positioning to obtain optimal images. </li><li>Evaluates previous studies for comparison. </li><li>Manages process and performs technical phases of radiographic procedures, including portable and operating room. </li><li>Manages and performs abdomen, Ob/Gyn, small parts, and vascular ultrasound procedures; documents findings in a technologist report. </li><li>Performs procedures while taking precautions against unsafe exposure to patient, self or others; ensures all exposures are required. Identifies and promptly addresses unsafe practices and other safety issues in the department. Ensures all appropriate PPE is available. </li><li>Develops digital images, creates, updates and maintains patient data files; ensure transmission of images to consultant radiologists and manages diagnostic evaluation reports. </li><li>Provides written and verbal reports to physicians recognizing cases requiring immediate attention. </li><li>Interfaces with clinic staff, technical support for regular software upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting. </li><li>Responsible for imaging patient records; creates and maintains files, audits files for completion, legibility and appropriate charging. </li><li>Prepares and submits monthly and weelky reports in accordance with schedules and deadlines. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Job Skills & Knowledge Requirements:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Provides after-hours on-call response to emergency calls requiring imaging skills. </li><li>Capable of functioning independently and proven ability in exercising independent judgment. </li><li>Requires administration/management experience including planning and development. </li><li>Other skills include consultation skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, public speaking skills, proficiency with computer system. </li><li>Must be familiar with all standard radiographic procedures including portable and operating room. </li><li>Possesses technical ability to obtain optimal images. </li></ul> Qualifications<p><br></p><strong>Experience Required: </strong><p><br></p><strong>Minimum 5 Years Recent Imaging Practical Experience.</strong><p><br></p>Maintain continuing education activities.<p><br></p>Experience with digital acquisition and transmission of images desired.<p><br></p><strong>Education Required:</strong><p><br></p>Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or home country equivalent.<p><br></p>Experience as a sonographer is highly desirable.<p><br></p>Additional Information<p><br></p>Accomodation, Transport, Visa and Medical Insurance will be provided.
