We continually expand our Digital Enterprise portfolio to include ground breaking technologies and offer industry-specific end-to-end solutions for companies of all sizes.<p><br></p>Join our <strong>Digital Industries</strong> as a <strong>Field Service Engineer</strong> for <strong>Motion Control Applications</strong> and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.<p><br></p><strong>Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!</strong><p><br></p>The <strong>Motion Control Service Engineer</strong> is responsible for design, implementation, commissioning and troubleshooting of Motion Control Low Voltage drives, motors and Automation system for a variety of industrial applications predominantly in the Water Industry, Petrochemicals and Oil &amp; Gas sectors.<p><br></p><ul><li>Product selection, engineering and commissioning of Drives and Drive Applications.</li><li>Should have knowledge on Motors and their selection and applications.</li><li>Should have basic knowledge of Siemens Automation products and systems.</li><li>Installation and configuration, and documentation.</li><li>Should be able to visit site – extensive travel and be able to take independent decisions while solving issues at site.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical and Electronics engineering</li><li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in Siemens Drives, Motion Control Applications and Basic Automation systems</li><li>Hands on experience in commissioning, and troubleshooting of Drive &amp; Automation Systems</li><li>Knowledge on Motors – Selection and application</li><li>Must have effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as good presentation skills</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel</li><li>Must be highly motivated and a team player; must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity</li><li>Must be available to respond for emergency and relief assignments</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Desirable Hands-On Skills</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>SINAMICS S120, S210</li><li>SINAMICS G120, G130 &amp; G150</li><li>SIMATIC MICRO-DRIVE</li><li>SINAMICS DCM</li><li>SIMOTICS</li><li>Discontinued Products (e.g. Simoreg DC-Master, Masterdrive, Dynavert)</li><li>Engineering and implementation of Drive Technology applications mainly based on SINAMICS Drive Control Chart (DCC) or Open Architecture (OA / SINAMICS TEC) </li><li>SIMOTION SCOUT, SCOUT standalone and SCOUT TIA</li><li>Basics of SIMATIC S7-400, S7-300, S7-1200 PLC Systems and WinCC SCADA System</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>What else do you need to know?</strong><p><br></p>As a world leader in developing and producing the most advanced engineering technologies, we improve lives and further human achievements worldwide, while also protecting the climate – all thanks to our employees.
