<p>We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Recruitment Specialist for <strong>Novo Cinemas</strong>, Doha, Qatar. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Execute the functional strategy in line with the departmental strategy to ensure the achievement of departmental objectives in due course, cost and quality</li><li>Assist in the development of the department’s annual business plan, KPIs and budget,</li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and operational standards for the function in line with the departmental policies and procedures<strong><u> </u></strong></li><li>Develop a cost-effective recruitment plan based on the approved manpower plan</li><li>Coordinate with departments that need staff to identify recruitment needs and timings in-line with the manpower plan.</li><li>Perform communication and follow-up with recruiting agencies (if needed) for specific positions. </li><li>Schedule/attend recruitment events to source candidates.</li><li>Perform screening of CVs and shortlisting of candidates making recommendations to hiring managers.</li><li>Conduct interviews with candidates as per the requirements of the hiring managers.</li><li>Coordinate with departments that need staff to review shortlisted candidates and agree on interviews.</li><li>Negotiate and follow up with candidates and answer queries about package and other related job offer information.</li><li>Record and archive all documentation related to the recruitment process.</li><li>Actively support the development of subordinates with special emphasis on Qatari national reports and ensure that they meet their agreed upon performance objectives.</li><li>Prepare appropriate reports on ad-hoc basis as required by the management.</li><li>Support hiring process of all Elan group subsidiaries.</li><li>Ensure compliance all recruitment and talent acquisition areas such as screening, vendor management, employee fitment etc.</li><li>Contribute to the people development initiatives within the department.</li><li>Coach and mentor direct subordinates to develop their skills and ensure continuous people development.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>PROFILE: QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years’ experience in recruitment</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Administration</li><li>A professional certification (PHR or CIPD would be an advantage)</li><li>Excellent knowledge about Qatar Labour Law related to recruitment procedures</li><li>Generalist HR experience but with exposure to payroll activities.</li><li>Good skill in using MS office applications and required government websites</li><li>Excellent knowledge of local laws and regulations</li></ul>
