It develops and supplies high-value, specialty process technology and catalysts for chemicals and fuels processing to enable our customers to operate efficiently, profitably and sustainably. With CT at the forefront of the transition to sustainable chemicals and fuels, the transition to net zero is creating exciting new opportunities in this sector.<br><br>The Global Technical Service Leader will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) within the Technical Service organization, with a specific focus on water gas shift operations found within ammonia and hydrogen flowsheets. The role will involve the development of standards, tools, and best practices and the sharing of knowledge within the Technical Service organization and across the wider JM team. The role will also be responsible for driving an improvement in the wider exposure of JM’s technical expertise in the market through customer facing activities such as conferences, webinars, and digital product offerings. Additionally, this role will include providing direct technical service to selected customers.<br><br><strong>Your responsibilities:<br></strong><ul><li>Developing and implementing standards and best practices within the Technical Services organization</li><li>Providing technical service to customers through direct customer support. Building and maintaining effective partnerships with customers in an ethical and safe manner.</li><li>Coaching and mentoring JM’s technical service engineers</li><li>Identifying and developing opportunities to demonstrate JM’s technical expertise to the wider markets / industry through conferences, papers, webinars etc.</li><li>Serving as a trusted advisor for customers. Providing advice in areas important to the customer which may be outside of JM’s technology offering.</li><li>Collaborating with the Technical Service teams to collect data and share learnings with the Process Engineering, R&D, and Market teams to optimize technology design and offer</li><li>Supporting R&D, Market, and Manufacturing teams on new product development. Providing technical and market information with a customer focus.</li><li>Developing opportunities for the introduction of new products and new service offers to customers</li><li>Working with the Digital team to provide technical product input/ownership for current and future digital products<br><br></li></ul>Requirements for the role:<br><ul><li>Degree most likely in a scientific/technical discipline -Essential</li><li>Background in refineries, absorbents and catalysts – Essential</li><li>Proven technical service experience including complex negotiations – Essential</li><li>Detailed understanding of technical product features of the Catalyst Technologies product portfolio – Essential</li><li>Significant experience building, managing and influencing global cross functional teams – Essential</li><li>Significant customer services and technical support experience – Essential<br><br></li></ul>How you will be rewarded:<br><br>We offer a competitive compensation and JM Elements benefits package including bonus, excellent pension contributions and 25 days annual leave (varies for shift-based roles).
