<p>Responsibilities:</p><p>- Design, prepare, and present high-quality, innovative dessert dishes in line with current culinary trends and our company’s style and reputation.</p><p>- Prepare a wide variety of artisanal pastries such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread, and other original dessert recipes.</p><p>- Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of all dessert and baking-related ingredients and equipment.</p><p>- Supervise and coordinate activities of the pastry team to ensure consistent execution of recipes and techniques.</p><p>- Create and update standard recipe cards for all new and revised dessert items.</p><p>- Train and mentor junior team members in pastry techniques and skills.</p><p>- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and orderly kitchen.</p><p><br></p><p>**Qualifications:**</p><p><br></p><p>- Culinary School Diploma or equivalent professional training.</p><p>- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role, with a focus on artisanal desserts.</p><p>- In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, baking techniques, and nutrition.</p><p>- Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten-free, sugarless, etc.)</p><p>- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to delegate and monitor tasks.</p><p>- Exceptional creativity and innovation in pastry arts with a meticulous attention to detail.</p><p>- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.</p><p>- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p><p><br></p>
