Security Manager

Job Description

<p>We are looking for a Security Manager to oversee the security of our buildings and labour camps. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our personnel, property, and assets. You will be expected to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols as well as monitor and investigate any security breaches or suspicious activity. </p><p><br></p><p><em>Responsibilities:</em></p><ol><li>Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures for buildings and labour camps.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date records on all security personnel.</li><li>Monitor perimeter access points to ensure that only authorized personnel enter the premises.</li><li>Investigate any suspicious activity or security breaches.</li><li>Ensure that all employees are trained on proper handling of sensitive information.</li><li>Oversee the installation of appropriate surveillance systems and equipment.</li><li>Monitor CCTV footage to ensure safety compliance.</li><li>Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.</li><li>Prepare detailed reports on all incidents involving personnel or property damage.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of all buildings and labour camps to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities.</li><li>To report tenants complaints or problems to superiors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with tenants.</li><li>To ensure that all employees report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform, at all times. To ensure they maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the company appearance standards.</li></ol><p><br></p><p> Requirements:</p><ol><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role</li><li>SIRA License</li><li>Computer literate, with high competency level in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as a minimum).</li><li>Strong leadership skills and proven experience in staff development.</li></ol><p></p>
