<p><strong>Roles and responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Designing and building hardware components and systems</li><li>Recommending new hardware designs</li><li>Designing blueprints for new hardware</li><li>Constructing hardware from technical designs</li><li>Analyzing test data to identify errors and modify existing hardware</li><li>Consulting with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance</li><li>Reviewing datasheets</li><li>Analyzing PCN (Product Change Notification), managing life cycle, ensuring ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliance update, and obsolescence</li><li>Preparing BOM for production.</li><li>Familiar with CAD, PCB Design, and Tools like Aras/ Minevera PLM, OrCAD, etc.</li><li>Providing support to all designers to perform component research and participate in the component life cycle and evaluate all components for various processes.</li><li>Ensuring the suitability and testability of suitable components required to manufacture a larger product.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.</li><li>Collaborating with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure that components meet technical requirements posed by design teams during the product development process.</li><li>Working with cross-functional teams to tune and validate electronic hardware components.</li><li>Documenting and summarizing design data to support team members and different clients</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Skills Required</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Background in electronics engineering:</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience for a master’s degree holder, or minimum 5 years experience for a bachelor’s Degree holder in a similar role.</li><li>Proficient in problem-solving to resolve issues in a timely manner </li><li>Ability to work closely with the software development team.</li><li>Ability to see potential problems in a system setup.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li></ul>
