<p><strong><span>Job Objective</span></strong>:</p><br><p><span>Responsible for developing and organizing JCSA’s season plans (Riyadh and Taif) and race programs whilst taking into account relevant international standards and best practices. Managing and delivering the annual Yearlings sales auction.</span></p><br><p><strong><span> </span></strong></p><br><p><strong><span>Primary Roles and Responsibilities</span></strong>:</p><br><p><span><span>●<span> </span></span></span><span>Conduct research and gather information around (horse population, racecourses sizes, racecourses count and readiness, geographic spread of fixtures, starting prices, KSA event calendar) to be exploited in the fixtures planning process.</span></p><br><p><span><span>●<span> </span></span></span><span>Prepare all needed materials to support the Director of Racing and the technical committee during the planning phase.</span></p><br><p><span><span>●<span> </span></span></span><span>Update the fixtures/fixtures requirements when required as per the Director of Racing directions while ensuring that the defined criteria are met.</span></p><br><p><span><span>●<span> </span></span></span><span>Draft all fixtures (this should include the race date, race name, racecourse, and money prize) based on the directions of all involved stakeholders (e.g. Phil Smith, Arabian Association, Royal Court, Board of Directors, Technical Committee).</span></p><br><p><span><span>●<span> </span></span></span><span>Coordinate with the Communication and Public Relations to publish the approved fixtures, in both Arabic and English, on JCSA’s website. </span></p><br><p><span><span>●<span> </span></span></span><span>Share the approved fixtures with all racecourses so as to enable them to start their preparation for running the different races. </span></p><br><p><span><span>●<span> </span></span></span><span>Share any updates on the fixtures with the Horse Allocation function to ensure full alignment of activities. </span></p><br><p><span><span>●<span> </span></span></span><span>Explain races requirements and criteria to the Clerk of the Course to ensure that he/she has a solid understanding of each race.</span></p><br><p><span><span>●<span> </span></span></span><span>Explain fixtures requirements to the Horse Allocation Specialist to ensure that participating horses are being allocated to the right fixtures.</span></p><br><p><span><span>●<span> </span></span></span><span>Coordinate with the Event Management function to align the race programs with the race-day events calendar.</span></p><br><p><span><span>●<span> </span></span></span><span>Collect needed data to assess the performance of the developed racing programs (e.g. number of registered horses, number of sold tickets, owners feedback etc. ) and report on the result.</span></p><br><p><span><span>●<span> </span></span></span><span>Preparation of saddle cloths and winner rugs and liaising between PR department and production vendors (this is currently in transition to Commercial Department)</span></p><br><p><span><span>●<span> </span></span></span><span>Implementation and overseeing auction management and recommending future improvements.</span></p><br><p><strong><span> </span></strong></p><br><p><strong><span>Required Years of Experience</span></strong><span> &amp;<strong> Education</strong></span></p><br><p><span>Professional certification is a plus</span><span>.</span></p><br><p><span>Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or function</span></p>
