Material Planner

Job Description

<p>We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Material Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that materials and supplies are available as needed to support manufacturing or other operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience working with reports, and a background in retail.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p><p>- Analyze demand forecasts to determine the quantity and timing of materials needed</p><p>- Monitor inventory levels and place orders with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time</p><p>- Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers</p><p>- Collaborate with production teams to schedule materials and ensure that production targets are met</p><p>- Track and report on key performance metrics related to inventory and materials management</p><p>- Analyze data and conduct research to identify opportunities for process improvement</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong>:</p><p>- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field</p><p>- At least 3 years of experience as a Material Planner or in a related role</p><p>- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced features</p><p>- Experience working with reports and data analysis tools</p><p>- Background in retail preferred</p><p>- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills</p><p>- Ability to work independently and in a team environment</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>If you are an experienced Material Planner with a passion for data analysis and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
