<p>We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team at Alwabel Trading and Maintenance Company. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights to improve financial performance. If you have a strong background in accounting, a good knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Odoo), and are eager to contribute to a dynamic organization, this position may be perfect for you.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><p>Financial Reporting:</p><ul><li>Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly financial statements, budget variance analysis, and cash flow projections.</li><li>Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.</li></ul><p>General Ledger Management:</p><ul><li>Manage the general ledger, including recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining supporting documentation.</li></ul><p>Accounts Payable and Receivable:</p><ul><li>Process invoices, verify accuracy, and prepare payments.</li><li>Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.</li></ul><p>Payroll Processing:</p><ul><li>Assist in processing payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, deductions, and benefits.</li><li>Prepare payroll reports and maintain payroll records.</li></ul><p>Tax, Compliance, and Regulatory Reporting:</p><ul><li>Assist in ensuring all tax, compliance, and regulatory requirements are met, including liaising with government authorities, preparing and submitting required documents, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and laws.</li></ul><p>Record Keeping and Documentation:</p><ul><li>Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other supporting documents.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.</li></ul><p>Financial Analysis:</p><ul><li>Assist in conducting financial analysis, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant professional qualification.</li><li>At least 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.</li><li>Knowledge and experience of Saudi Arabia’s accounting standards and audit process, ideally including knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.</li><li>Knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s tax and compliance regulations and experience in preparing and submitting VAT and Income Tax returns.</li><li>Experience in preparing payroll records and using Mudad, GOSI, and other government platforms related to payroll.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel and Google Sheets.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Strong communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p><br></p>
