<ul><li>Ensure the safety of all maintenance personnel by utilizing the JIGPC basic safety standard procedures, which include Safety Work Permits, LOTO, Confined Space, etc. The position is a key member in building a safety culture in JIGPC Complex.</li><li> Understand Environmental Regulatory requirements.</li><li> Support instrument and controls construction and commissioning activities.</li><li> Ensure JIGPC standards, and best practices for EH&S, productivity, reliability, quality, and overall customer services are met.</li><li> Monitor and execute preventative and corrective maintenance activities pertaining to the operation of instrument and controls equipment, to insure safety and reliability targets are achieved </li><li> Maintain equipment maintenance document integrity through accurate technical reports </li><li> Assist instrument and controls contractors with all sites related activities assigned to them, ensuring the safety and reliability philosophy is followed </li><li> Working with the operations and engineering teams to understand plant issues and execute cost-effective solutions for a resolution to meet the customer’s satisfaction on safety, reliability, product quality, and flexibility on product supply</li><li> Facilitate attainment of operations excellence and customer satisfaction via maintenance productivity, reliability, quality, and cost-reduction efforts</li><li> Provide instrument and controls maintenance support and participate in incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis. Identify & implement sustainable corrective action(s) </li><li> Provide support during turnarounds (TAR), including instrument and controls maintenance and repair information collection, preparation of job packages, spares and materials, contractors and tools, safety management during execution, and TAR execution and contractor management </li><li> Provide support during the upgrade expense capital project of equipment if needed</li><li> Emergency response required 7 days a week/ 24 hours a day. The instrument and controls maintenance lead must have the ability to make decisions upon consulting management, operations, and engineering outside of normal working hours on the resolution of the issue at hand</li><li> Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential to the position. Credibility and respect across the organization are important. </li><li> The incumbent works closely with operations and engineering to ensure alignment with operational objectives.</li><li> Execute hands-on instrument and control maintenance-related activities for troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and test activities.</li><li> Provide instrument and control maintenance support during the commissioning of the plants. Maintain accurate document control and monitor quality assurance initiatives to maintain the history going forward.</li><li> Provide instrument and controls maintenance leadership to ensure the safety, reliability, and maintainability of the instrument and controls equipment</li><li> Provide instrument and controls maintenance input for scheduled outages to Management</li><li> Assist in the development and execute the preventative/predictive maintenance program to ensure scheduled maintenance activities are completed and remain in compliance</li><li> Responsible for executing Critical Safety Circuit (CSS) revalidations for the assigned facilities. </li><li> In cooperation with Engineering execute a reliability program to achieve operational excellence by sustaining equipment operation and driving productivity to increase efficiency</li><li> Working on SAP</li><li> Maintaining individual and department KPI<br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br></strong><ul><li> a University degree in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of work experience OR 2 years diploma in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering with 10 years of work experience in gas, petrochemical, or related plant technologies and industries. A candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on maintenance instrument & controls lead experience </li><li>Egyptian Nationality is a must</li><li> 10 years minimum hands-on instrument & controls experience in gas, petrochemical, or related industries.</li><li> Demonstrated technical and practical problem-solving skills with a good business sense in the maintenance field </li><li> Promotes a ‘one team’ environment </li><li> Proven coordination experience in a multi-team environment which includes engineering, maintenance, and contractors </li><li> Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills, and decision-making skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively </li><li>7 Strong oral and written skills with the ability to communicate maintenance activities to the management team on a daily basis </li><li> Knowledge of computer-based applications (Microsoft Office) and a working knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning system (SAP knowledge a plus) in order to enter and retrieve data </li><li> Ability to read single-line drawings, P&IDs, ladder logic, wiring schematics, and other technical documentation </li><li> Hands-on knowledge of the construction and maintenance, including but not limited to the following: o Process plant instrumentation of various types (e.g. pressure, temperature, flow, level, vibration measurement, and transmission systems) o Effectively use typical test and calibration equipment, including pneumatic calibrators, RTD calibrators, mA calibrators, T/C calibrators, digital and analog multi-meters, meggers, and laptops for equipment communication o Control systems such as DCS and PLCs (Siemens experience a plus) o Control and switch valves with associated actuating systems o Fabrication, wiring and hook up the experience of Instrumentation and Electrical equipment o Troubleshoot and repair 480 VAC 3 phase motor controls and 120 VAC control circuits. o Experience with inspection repair, installation troubleshooting, and modification of induction & synchronous motors o Experience with transformers, high and low voltage switchgear, protective relays, generators, and distribution systems </li><li> Must have experience in major shutdown support, project work, plant operations, and maintenance efforts </li><li> Proficiency in English speaking and writing </li><li> Knowledge and understanding of local environmental and health and safety requirements </li><li> Knowledge of vendor contracts and knowledge of shop support in the region is desirabl</li></ul>
