We are currently hiring a Compliance Officer and Money-Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) in Dubai.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Job Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the establishment of the business in the UAE from a compliance and AML perspective.</li><li>Provide advice and guidance to the business and senior management on compliance and AML related matters.</li><li>Draft and maintain policies and procedures. Implement appropriate systems and controls including with respect to AML/CTF, fraud and sanctions.</li><li>Provide training.</li><li>Undertake monitoring and surveillance through a risk-based monitoring program.</li><li>Liaise with applicable regulators, authorities and government bodies including with regards to AML/CTF, fraud and sanctions matters.</li><li>Undertake initial and ongoing KYC/CDD checks and screening.</li><li>Prepare regulatory reports for the Board, management, and applicable regulators.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments such as Audit, HR, Finance, Operations, IT etc.</li><li>Stay up to date on regulatory changes and ensure the business is aware of critical developments in the regulatory landscape.</li><li>Receive internal Suspicious Transaction Reports for assessment and external filing.</li><li>Maintain records in relation to Firm’s regulatory obligations.</li><li>Review products, marketing, sales, and communications.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Skills and Experience</u></strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in financial services compliance, ideally with exposure to FinTech, start-ups, and Virtual Assets.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of AML/CFT laws and regulations in the UAE and internationally.</li><li>Able to work independently and part of a team, prioritise workloads and deliver under pressure.</li><li>Strong communicator in English, written and verbal.
