<p><strong><u>Database Administrator (DBA) for Microsoft Dynamics</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong> <u> Job Summary</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p>The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Microsoft Dynamics database. This includes the following tasks:</p><p><br></p><p>● Creating and maintaining database schemas</p><p>● Loading and unloading data</p><p>● Backing up and restoring databases</p><p>● Monitoring database performance</p><p>● Troubleshooting database problems</p><p>● Keeping the database up to date with the latest security patches</p><p><br></p><p>The DBA must have a strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX and SQL Server. They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><p><br></p><p>● Design, implement, and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics database</p><p>● Develop and implement database security policies and procedures</p><p>● Configure and manage database servers</p><p>● Monitor database performance and troubleshoot problems</p><p>● Keep the database up to date with the latest security patches</p><p>● Work with other IT staff to ensure the availability and integrity of the database</p><p><br></p><p> <strong><u>Qualifications & Experience </u></strong></p><p><br></p><p>● Masters or Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field</p><p>● 3+ years of experience in database administration</p><p>● Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX and SQL Server</p><p>● Experience with backup and restore procedures</p><p>● Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting</p><p>● Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p><p>Desired Qualifications</p><p>● Security certifications, such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)</p><p>● Experience with cloud computing</p><p>● Experience with database automation</p><p>● Experience with database risk management</p><p>● Experience with database compliance</p>
