Head of Logistics
Job Description
<p><span>As the Head of Logistics at Suplyd , you will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s logistics operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and transportation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the F&B e-commerce industry and be able to develop and implement strategies that will improve efficiency and reduce costs.</span></p><br><p><span>Key Responsibilities</span></p><br><ul><br><li><br><p><span>Develop and implement logistics strategies that support the company’s growth goals.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations to management on purchasing decisions.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>Oversee order fulfillment, warehousing and inventory management to ensure that orders are delivered on time and in good condition.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>Manage transportation costs and identify opportunities to reduce costs.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>Work with other departments to ensure that logistics operations are aligned with the company’s overall goals.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>Manage relationships with logistics and transportation providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective storing and shipping of goods.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination between logistics, procurement, and customer service.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track function and team performance and make data-driven improvements.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing logistics operations, including safety and environmental standards.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>Develop and manage a team of logistics professionals, and provide coaching and feedback to support their professional development.</span></p><br></li><br></ul><br><p><span>Qualifications</span></p><br><ul><br><li><br><p><span>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>At least 8 years of experience in supply chain and logistics, preferably in the F&B industry.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>Proven track record of developing and implementing successful planning and logistics strategies.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.</span></p><br></li><br><li><br><p><span>Experience managing a team of supply chain professionals, with a focus on coaching and professional development.</span></p><br></li><br></ul><br><p></p><span></span><br><p><span>If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for supply chain management and a proven track record of success in planning and logistics, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.</span></p>
