<strong>anurag.baghela@ppldynamics.com</strong><p><br></p><strong>Job details.</strong><p><br></p>You will be responsible for maintenance and support of databases within the organization, including, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL and other open source databases; providing defined availability for all hosted products and database infrastructure based on criticality of the Business application. <p><br></p>Your role includes timely upgrades, regular patching activities, pro-active and re-active performance analysis, monitoring, database security, troubleshooting and resolution of issues that includes liaising with database vendors. <p><br></p><strong>Accountabilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Maintaining the availability of database instances based on defined Tier / SLA. Maintain the database security and prevent unauthorized access to the databases in compliance with IT security policy.</li><li>Undertaking installations, upgrades, migrations and patch management of Databases. Administration of System Management procedures and standards. <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelors, or Masters In Computers Science or equivalent. </li><li>Minimum 8+ years of job related experience required as Database Administrator / Architect. </li><li>Hands-on experience on database migration projects. </li><li>Good knowledge on Oracle RAC, hardware load balancing, multi-node setup and cloning. </li><li>Excellent experience of all flavours of Microsoft SQL server, from SQL 2008 to current version. </li><li>Knowledge of database Disaster Recovery planning for database services, specifically, Oracle and SQL Server </li><li>Hands on experience of RMAN, Datapump, familiar with ETL tools (T-SQL), SSIS, SSMS &amp; SSRS. </li><li>Understanding of Cloud Computing and Database as a Service. <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Other skills: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>SQL Server, Standalone &amp; Clustered </li><li>SQL Database Administration </li><li>Database Administration 12c/18c/19c </li><li>Open Source databases </li><li>Oracle RAC </li><li>Oracle ASM </li><li>Oracle Dataguard </li><li>Experience of shell scripting </li><li>SharePoint database experience</li></ul>
